Freezing Cold!!

Hi Runners,

Sorry we have been a little bit distant with our posts recently, lots of things have been happening here at the running school, we are getting loads of runners embarking on their six sessions and all are loving their new technique.

Mike is coming along well in his training, I will be seeing him again next friday, with the hope that his balance has improved!! I know he will have been doing all of his exercises religiously :)

I hope everyone has stayed nice and warm throughout the plummeting temperatures we have experienced the past few weeks. Personally I love running out in the cold, lovely and fresh!!

Runners, we will be holding an open weekend, this weekend so if you fancy coming down and getting your running technique biomechanically analysed by us then just pop a comment below with some contact details and we wil get in touch with you!.

Happy Running :)

It's raining....

I asked for ice and snow and instead we get rain………and lots of it. I got pretty soaked on the early morning run this morning. It was so dark we could hardly see the puddles - or should I say mini lakes springing up everywhere. Probably should have taken a headtorch. But hey the hi-viz clothing worked a treat. Didn’t get drowned by any cars driving through big roadside muddy puddles - or maybe that was just luck and the fact that it was ridiculously early. I normally avoid running on pavements and along roads as much as I can, but this morning it seemed the best option and it was a great change. With less hills, styles, tree roots and muddy paths to contend with we had a great fast run and it was invigorating in the rain. But given the choice I would run off-road any day. Can anyone recommend a headtorch!!
