Are you a Tweeting Bristol runner?

If you run round here, and you use Twitter, you may already follow Bristol Running Resource on Twitter.

But are you listed in our Bristol Runners Twitter list? I’ve listed 80 people in Bristol but I know there are many more. After all, there are over 350 followers of @bristol_running and I’ve worked pretty hard to filter out irrelevant followers.

Being in the list means you might find and be found by other keen runners in the area, and be able to link up and keep in touch with each others’ stories.

I’d love to add you to the list, so if you find you are not listed (it’s the thing next to “following” and “followers”) then just tweet @bristol_running, and I’ll add you to what could be the biggest list of runners in Bristol!

Who are Bristol's twittering runners?

There are a lot of Bristolian runners who use Twitter and follow this website’s own Twitter feed. Wouldn’t it be interesting to help them all find each other?

Well, Twitter has just made it possible to create lists of Twitter users, so Bristol Running Resource now compiles a list of Bristol Runners who use Twitter.

I’ve tried to add the people I know are Bristol based and run - it comes to 70 people and I’m sure I’ve missed some, and I may have added some who shouldn’t be in the list, so please put me straight.

If you use Twitter, you can use the list in two ways:

• Find and follow other Bristol runners.
• Follow the list - getting a compilation of tweets from Bristol runners.
