Good run on the Downs

After the Coombe Dingle outing on Thursday, I returned home and ice-packed my neck, and this did a good job of aleviating the burning sensation in my neck and shoulder. I slept like a baby and yesterday I felt pretty damn good all things considered.

This evening, although Sarah bagsied the run first, she changed her mind and let me take the slot. So, I’ve had a nice trip up Redland Road and round the downs. Perfect really, a bit of a breeze up there, but only on the gentle downhill, and cooling really. It was comfortable and steady, and although 2 minutes slower than over year ago, I feel like if I keep this up things will come good.
