First Run of 2011
Sharon | Add a comment! I had a great run this morning and boy did I need it after a rather stressful night. I was in the Childrens’ A & E until 1.30am after my youngest daughter got some glowstick fluid in her eyes. Lots of screaming, panicking and driving rather fast to the hospital. The doctors and nurses did a marvellous job and after flushing her eyes through with saline all is well. I don’t think I’ll be buying any glowsticks for a while.
I almost cancelled my run this morning with my running pal as I was so knackered, but really pleased I didn’t. We did our usual run through Victory Park in Brislington and through the fields to Eastwood Farm. There was a light drizzle of snow and it felt good. A real stress buster.
To make matters better there was a 50% off sale on running gear in Go Outdoors today. Yess!! Got some great bargains. For those into biking there’s a 50% off sale on Friday 7th Jan on cycling gear.
