I will miss the Bridge Inn 5k

Add a comment! Well, I went out on Saturday and Sunday, but decided to rest today.
Saturday, was a steady 6 miles legs weren’t as fresh as I had hoped, but still did a few hills.
Yesterday was slightly different, we went down to see my mum. I ran, the rest of the family drove. mums is about 6 miles away, not a bad run but it is totally open to all the elements including the sun. It was mid afternoon, it was hot, I don’t normally enjoy the heat but I decided to test myself a bit more and make it up to 10 miles. I went without my music, but have to admit I ran a lot better than I do with my music, I found I could get into a rhythm and keep it and not follow the beat of my music. Anyway, I got to my mums in under 1 hr 10, not bad as I didn’t feel like I was pushing myself, and didn’t feel too de-hydrated.
It was a rest day today, and I have a lot of travelling to do tomorrow so I won’t be running then either and unfortunately missing the Bridge Inn 5k.
My next run is Wednesday when I plan to commute home, about 9miles from Filton to Thornbury, should be good excluding the weather report.
