Chasing the annual target

I decided a couple of weeks ago that I would try and match last year’s mileage so have been going out every day for at least a short run. The plan was going well until Monday when I had to substitute a beautiful walk through Blaise in the snow to get to work. Tough call.

Three days without a run would mean that I had too many miles to catch up so I’ve just been out for a short run around the field in Blaise: crunchy snow, a couple of snowmen, one dog, two people and a beautiful sunrise, even pink sky over Wales.

Someone suggested last week that these short runs might be “junk” miles. Good junk today!

Happy running!
