Tibialis anteriorOuch! Mike Sully 4k on Sunday, Bridge Inn 5k on Tuesday (including 20k bike ride), and interval training with Chris Elson at Coombe Dingle last night.
Until I arrived at Coombe Dingle, I wasn’t feeling too sore or stiff, but as I warmed up, I could feel my tibialis anteriors were sore. After 2 reps of 1x900m + 2x350m my right gracilis was very sore.
I managed to keep it together pretty well though, and I don’t think I’ve done any serious damage. It’s been a great week and I’m so happy to be running properly again, and feeling optimistic that I can get some good improvements in speed over the next couple of months.
But I do need to look after myself. This pain on the front of my shins is a constant niggle - any tips welcome.
And then there is the small problem of christmas, which tends to end in a bad cold thanks to all the fun times with friends and family.
