Bristol races 28th May - 3rd June

Running races I know of in the area in this week are:

29th. Bridge Inn 5k, Shortwood.

2nd of 4. Out and back on tarmac cycle/footpath.
3rd. Hilly 10 mile, Bath

Picturesque but testing, just outside Bath.
3rd. Bradley Stoke 10k, Bradley Stoke.

Mainly “off road” on pathway’s crossing conservation/nature areas.

Running races I know of in the area in this week are:

7th. Devauden 10K, Chepstow.

New race. Off-road in Chepstow Park woods.
7th. Arnos Vale cemetery community 5k, Brislington.

With a 2k too. A new event in a fantastic setting. Should be a gem.
8th. Rose Inn 4 mile, Magor.

Two lap race, fast and flat. 1st in a series of 4.
10th. Wrington Woodland 10k, Cleeve.

Part of TACH’s Summer Pub Series. 2 hills one severe. But there’s a pub.
13th. Jack n Jill’s Challenge 10k, Midsomer Norton.

Rolling fields, hidden valleys, footpaths, woodland tracks, over styles and the odd river or two.
13th. Keynsham 10k, Keynsham.

A well organised race over undulating terrain - up to 800 runners.

Running races I know of in the area in this week are:

1st. The Pensford 10k, Pensford.

A hilly circuit on closed roads through beautiful countryside plus great home made cakes and enthusiastic public support.
4th. Towpath 10k series, Ashton.

1st of 5 races. Under the suspension bridge and along the river. Normally booked well in advance.
