• 28th. Thornbury Christmas 4 mile,Thornbury.
  A rumour of a race I know nothing about. Help!
• 1st. Hangover 10k,Weston-super-Mare.
  Festive jollity on half a bottle of whiskey.

Bristol local races 20th - 26th Dec 2008

Runs I know of in the area in this week are:

• 21st. B&W AC Downs Fitness Handicap,Downs.
  A fun handicap event for club members. Worth a watch as slow and fast compete and anyone can win.
• 26th. Boxing Day 4 mile,Clevedon.
  Full of rightious people who didn’t indulge enough the day before. I’ll be there … well I’ve got my number … depends how much turkey I shift the day before …

  Running with dogs! Who picks up the poo?
• 14th. Blacksheep 5k - 15k Trail Run, Forest ofDean.
  In the woods, pretty gentle inclines, different distances.
• 14th. Wyvern Christmas Cracker 10k,Weston-super-Mare.
  On tarmac and beach with festive marshals!
• 18th. Weston Prom 5 mile,Weston-super-Mare.
  4th in a series of 9 evening runs.
