Races near Bristol
There are loads of races out there, and if you surf around you will find them, but what a pain!
Here’s a simple list of local races coming up in the near future. I normally include anything within about 30 miles. So, if you fancy a little something for the weekend, this is the place to look.

June Races

1st of 3 races with hills, and the best views in the grounds of Blaise Castle

Women only, for all abilities. 1st of 3.

275m of climb. Rocky descents, often muddy.

2nd of 5 races. Under the suspension bridge and along the river. Normally booked well in advance.

Along paths, country lanes and over footbridges. Includes youth race.

Family fun run for all, including a best pants prize.

A range of races for 9-16 yr olds.

A flattish run on the trails of the arboretum.

Two lap race, fast and flat. 2nd in a series of 4.

Series of easy going races with a real good mix of people.

Mainly "off road" on pathway's crossing conservation/nature areas.

Bristol's biggest Fun run. After work around the harbour.

A fast, flat course on country lanes.

2nd in a series of 5 along the fast and flat Bristol to Bath cycletrack

Mainly along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Families welcome.

A mix of trail running and orienteering with "with a serious party after".

A single lap road course along the lanes around Oldbury & Kington.

Off-road with a 1,000 ft climb onto the Mendips.

A two-lap undulating rural road race.

Multi-Terrain Race on top of the magnificent Mendip Hills.

3rd of 4. Out and back on tarmac cycle/footpath.
