Races near Bristol
There are loads of races out there, and if you surf around you will find them, but what a pain!
Here’s a simple list of local races coming up in the near future. I normally include anything within about 30 miles. So, if you fancy a little something for the weekend, this is the place to look.

July races 2010

A 6 mile multi-terrain race in the scenic Wye Valley with a total 600ft of climb.

Events for teenagers hosted by Linford Christie, Darren Campbell & Christian Malcolm. No equipment, spikes or club membership required.

2nd of 3 races with hills, and the best views in the grounds of Blaise Castle.

Flat and fast on the Bristol/Bath cycletrack with good facilities, and attracting all abilities.

Up to 300 runners, good facilities, and the country lanes of Berkeley Vale.

254m of ascent. The first 3k is uphill.

3rd of 5 races. Under the suspension bridge and along the river.

A popular race over a flat, fast course through the picturesque village.

A great kids event, with age adjusted scoring and cricket ball throwing.

Series of easy going races with a real good mix of people.
