  Very scenic in the Wye Valley gorge with 1,600ft of climbing.

  Attractive scenic route on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment.
• 17th. Frenchay 10k, Frenchay.
  One of the country's oldest 10k events.
• 21st. Weston Prom 5 mile, Weston-super-Mare.

  Free, friendly, fun, with national age-graded results online.
• 24th. The Hanham Horror 6 mile, Hanham.
  An annual event of mass suffering. Muddy, tough, and fully marshaled.
• 25th. Bridge Inn 5k, Shortwood.
  1st of the summer series, on a traffic free route.
